AREAS OF FOCUS

For over 20 years, I have been working as a certified public accountant and tax advisor throughout Germany and, at times, internationally. My primary clients are owner-managed small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a diverse range of business activities. In these roles, I often serve as a sounding board for the owners to discuss upcoming business challenges.

Consequently, the SME consulting business – which is now becoming increasingly international – is the focus of my professional practice. In addition to traditional areas of corporate auditing, this focus has shifted in recent years toward business succession and related topics such as tax restructuring, business valuation, and business sales.

Since August 2022, I have also been a publicly appointed and sworn expert in business valuation. This enables me to prepare qualified business valuation reports throughout Germany in matters involving corporate law (e.g., withdrawal from a company, sale, disputes among shareholders regarding the company’s value) or family law (e.g., divorce).
